These are lists of all the books by the following authors.
They are in no specific order. I just found the lists in this order.

All these links are from the same website.
You can type any author's name in the search box (upper right), and it will show you all the works, by that author.
I've noticed only a very few authors that are not in this site's database.

These are authors I have enjoyed over the years.

Very nice @Ghot 😀.

However, things gets harder with novels based on TV series such as Star Trek, Stargate or Doctor Who to name three well known show with many authors.

It can be quite a detective exercise to (say) put post end of Star Trek DS9 novels in series order as these novels in particular carry mulitiple arcs over many books. The same applies to Star Trek Voyager.

Earlier Star Trek series such as TOS and STNG do not tend to have such an issue as story arcs were pretty uncommon although there were lots of miniseries with 3 to 6 novels on a particular topic but each miniseries was standalone.

Still great lists of course - Isaac Asimov was probably the most prolific writer.

I was slightly disappointed when later Foundation books were merged with Robot books. I felt that was Asimov living on past glory and was done solely for formulaic sales rather than bringing his original inventiveness to the fore.

Problem is I think many of his books have been so superseded by the modern technological era, that he began to lose direction.

Pethaps the scariest part is it is obvious that the three laws of robotics is a pipedream. We are already seeing sophisticated AI scams and robots being developed for warfare (Terminator farfetched - not looking so is it?)

I am glad I am getting old as I really think as John Laurie (from UK's Dads Army) used to say "We're Doomed".

Thanks for the compilation, @Ghot - I read books by many of those authors in the '60s, '70s and '80s. Out of interest, I looked at the entry for Isaac Asimov, and was astonished by the enormity of his work. I read the Foundation trilogy, and follow ups; the I Robot books, virtually all of his stand alone novels and some of his short stories. I remember being surprised to find a large tome by him in the university library dealing with some scientific topic (I forget which now). These days I mostly read computer magazines, newspapers and web pages, but my wife recently bought me "This Is How You Lose The Time War" by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. I'm slowly getting into it, but I'm not as receptive as I was when young.

When I was young I was a huge SciFi/Fantasy reader. I still have a number of those books, many by these artists. I also remember reading the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser series by Fritz Leiber, although I couldn't tell you what any of them were about any more ;)

I just noticed this thread. Wow. There is a lot that I wouldn't read, but there is some good stuff on that list.

I recommend anything by John Varley or Greg Bear (except "Blood Music". It is damn creepy.)
