Solved Mysterious icon above the trash can

On my computer screen, a red icon has suddenly appeared right above the trash can, at the very top left.

I can't delete the icon and if I move the mouse over the icon, the trash can is activated and not the red microphone icon.

How do I get rid of the square red icon at the very top corner?

NB: I used the Google translation tool!

Do you have an Antivirus or other protection? These usually superimpose small icons over the standard icons to show that the specific folder/file is protected.

PS: At the photo I see a "mic muted" icon. Some application related to audio does that. Find it and configure it not to show the icon on screen.

You do not state any of your system specs in your profile.
This looks like you pressed Function F4 (on my Acer anyway) and disable the mike by accident.
Look for a F key with a mike on it, press that key along with the function key.
