Windows 10
If I use Rufus to install a Win11 ISO. Is there any requirement for internet or can I just continue to the end of installation and use the OOBE workaround and then deal with internet at the end. Or is it necessary to connect ethernet which I'm assuming Windows will see BB regardless of drivers. Sorry for the naivety as it is 10 years + since I upgraded from 7 to 10 and internet was only necessary for hardware upgrades and Windows updates (I remember right)

there is no need for the internet when installing Windows 11.
just make sure no internet/ethernet cable is attached
you should get the option when installing when the WiFi connection comes up
of clicking 'dont have internet'. then you can continue the installation from there.

best of luck Steve ..

Thanks for the info. Will I still need the Shift+F10, Shift Fn+F10 to access CMD for the ability to enter OOBE....... I ask as that function doesn't appear to work on either my PC or Laptop. Or does it only become available during installation. If it's important then I'd do an upgrade rather than a clean install.

I have but I am unsure when the installation arrive at whether there is internet available, then the Shift+F10 becomes necessary

Shift + F10 works if it does not use my guide on the video for other methods.

In this guide, I’ll outline the methods that still work to bypass the online account and connection requirements for setting up Windows 11.
