OS
Windows 11
hi guys,

ive just been noticed like a week ago that i cannot receive more email or send because my storage is full..
Full at 5.0 GB (OneDrive)
(the thing is my onedrive is disabled in my windows 11 and i dont use it)
and when i go in my outlook settings online..
it says..
OneDrive: 5.0/5.0 GB (full)
Email Storage: Yo[u have 15 GB of free email storage with this account...
Why the Onedrive is interfering with my email if i dont use it? how i can disable it on the actual outlook website?

Thanks already!
Have a good one!

    This is my backup system.
If you;re not using it, uninstall OneDrive. Use RevoUnistaller (freeware)
- uninstall OneDrive with Revo (do not create a restore point, waste of time)
- tick ALL/EVERY option offered to remove
- don't reboot even if prompted
- then choose the Advanced option in Revo to remove all the leftover files/folders/registry entries that Windows leaves behind
- reboot

Note you're on a hiding to nothing here ... the 2 most common "Help, I'm having trouble with ..." topics across multiple forums on the internet are MS Outlook and OneDrive.

EDIT : oops, I assume you're talking about MS Outlook and not an account in outlook.com ...? Might need to clarify.

onedrive is uninstalled from all my computers since quite a while. and i receive my emails in mail ( now it wants me to switch to 2024 outlook ).. and that limitation of " my onedrive being full "... is coming from ? i checked in the outlook (website) and into my microsoft account (MS website) and i didnt find where to turn this thing off.. it says that its full @5GB (while not being enabled by me) while stating that i have 15GB of space in that email account. i just have no use of onedrive.
thanks

i dont get it why a limiting factor in my case..
If you don't have an Office 365, you only get 500gig of space. If you have a subscription, you get 1TB of space.

PS: is it going to get full again even if i dont have onedrive installed anywhere ?
Not trying to be funny, but the answer to your question has been provided but you say you know, so.... 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, turning off or unlinking will not allow any more syncing - aka add files to your OneDrive folder.

Help us help you - read the links.

And you DO NOT need "RevoUnistaller" or need to uninstall OneDrive to prevent it from syncing. You can simply unlink it from the PC and OneDrive will be inactive. No unnecessary steps/software required.

Peace

Why the Onedrive is interfering with my email if i dont use it?
Yes, I have noticed that nonsense too, when I created new Outlook. MS basically turned OneDrive into ransomware.
You can get +10GB by creating 20 referral accounts (3 per day), it can be useful, if MS comes up with another 💩
