Need Nvidia GeForce 8400M GT Graphics Driver for Windows 11

Hi all,

Tried the driver off the Nvidia website but it the installation failed as it did not see the graphics card during install, running as adminstrator and compatibility mode did not help. Read on a Reddit post that this graphics card is unsupported by Windows 11 but not willing to give up hope, surely there is a modified driver made by the likes of LaptopVideo2Go?

Is this the driver you tried?

If you tried the driver in the link from "Ghot", and it failed, your laptop maker may be using a custom hardware ID for the graphics card.

As you haven't told us the make and exact model of the laptop, it'll be hard to assist you further.

LaptopVideo2Go does indeed help in the creation of modified drivers that might work for you, but they may not have a pre-modded driver for your particular laptop.
