Howdy Folks! :-)
I was fooled into installing McAfee Bundled ... :( I do know better, but was rushing/not thinking. :(

Revo caught and removed all but one McAfee entry that I found with a Registry search (attached).

I was tempted to just delete it, but then wondered if it's parent should also be deleted. I don't have much experience with Registry editing.

TIA to all who read this post and those with suggestions/directions/comments.

Cheers
:cool:

First thing I would say is right click the entry at the left and export the key. That way you can replace it should anything be amiss later (unlikely).

If you have no McAfee software installed then I would be happy deleting it.

You can try Autoruns (search McAfee) to disable it (most likely explorer shell) and if nothing crashes after restart, remove it.

@Mooly
Thanks for the "export key" procedure; (I always export the whole registry) and now know how to export just one key.

My question still remains on one or both (parent included) to delete.
Agree "no McAfee & happy to delete it"

@TairikuOkami
Thanks for the introduction to Autoruns; good to know it's available for bigger issues!

Agree "no McAfee & happy to delete it"

Deleting the main parent entry should delete the sub key below it. Its like deleting a folder containing other folders. I'm sure there won't be an issue.
