New desktop{new hardware, including processor , ram}, dual boot, two internal drives, previous activation continued.

Window 11 v24H2 Build 26100.2033
1. I had digital license activated to my Microsoft account for Windows 10, Windows 11, retail licenses, on old desktop pc.
2. As previous desktop has some technical issue, hardware repair has to be made.
3. I replaced old desktop and bought new desktop which has totally different hardware configuration than the previous desktop.
4. Old desktop, as told in step 1, had Windows 10 and Windows 11 os with digital licenses linked with my Microsoft account, on single HDD of size 1tb.
5. I installed Windows 10 on 128 gb SSD keeping 1 tb HDD attached in desktop. During installation I entered previous license key for Windows 10 Pro linked with my Microsoft account. In settings, it displayed activated windows with digital license linked to my Microsoft account. I used bootable usb for Windows 10 installation.
6. Then keeping SSD drive attached, I installed Windows 11 on 1tb HDD on unsupported configuration. In settings, it displayed activated windows with digital license linked to my Microsoft account. I used bootable usb for Windows 11 installation.
So I did not have to purchase new license keys for new desktop.
7. Now I have Windows 10 on SSD and Windows 11 on 1 tb HDD, digital licenses linked to my Microsoft account,with dual boot options for Windows 10 and Windows 11.

What kind of license you entered? Was a Win 10 pro license that you bought?

Retail license for Windows 10 Pro.
Retail license for Windows 11 Pro, different from Windows 10 key.
Both license keys purchased on different periods from digiworld4u.in website.

Nothing un normal on the procedure and activation.
New hardware with a retail key should activate and it did.
After Win 10 activation, Win 11 will also activate if same type (Home or Pro) as it has a digital license for Win 10 / 11. No need for Win 11 key.

What people are complaining is that they lost the digital license acquired after a free upgrade from Win 7 or Win 8.x
