The following update is available for Surface Pro for Business (11th Edition) running Windows 11, Version 23H2 or greater.

Improvements and fixes:
  • Reliability:
    • Avoid incorrect system notifications. We’ve resolved an issue where the device incorrectly shows an “Unauthenticated battery detected” notification.
    • Stay connected to maintain your productivity. We’ve fixed an issue where the device loses wireless connectivity after resuming from sleep or hibernation.
    • Get the latest updates for Surface Slim Pen 2. We’ve fixed an issue where the device can’t receive updates for the pen.
    • Enjoy your favorite music without disruptions. We’ve fixed an issue with failures in audio recording and playback.
  • Performance and usability:
    • Meet your important deadlines. We’ve resolved an issue where the device is slow to respond or stops responding.
    • Maximize your device’s battery life. We’ve fixed a power consumption issue that drains the battery.
    • Simplify device management. System administrators now have the option to turn off the stop error triggered by a long power-button hold. They can set the value for PowerButtonBugcheck to 0 in the registry.
