I started to get random freezing and BSODs on my PC a few weeks ago. At the time I was on an early access build, so I wiped windows completely and re-installed the retail build. The freezing and BSOD still happened, so I started to replace hardware.

I put in a new SSD, GPU, Power Supply, Motherboard, and RAM, a fresh install of windows again, but no luck. I've ran as many tests as I can think of, and updated all the drivers direct from manufacturer (CPU,GPU,BOIS). Event logs don't show any errors, and the minidump seems to constantly point to ntkrnlmp.exe. I have a brand new 5900x cpu in the box, but I don't want to install it unless I have to. I would rather take it back and save some $$.

Disabling overclocking if you are doing that, double check to be sure you have correct chipset and device drivers. Remove MSI Afterburner or other smart utilities. Check RAM speeds are correct and test memory.

Thanks, I actually disabled any potential overclocking right after making this post. The board had a setting called "Precision Boost Overdrive" that was set to Auto, so I set it to disable to be sure. As for as the other suggestions, I did those as well during my initial testing of the issue.

So far since disabling the PBO, it hasn't frozen or BSOD'd. Fingers crossed that fixed the issue. Strange tho, as this is a new board I put in to troubleshoot the issue.

The computer is having many BSOD with varied bugchecks including multiple WHEA 124.

The one day Windows installation with the BSOD findings are consistent with malfunctioning or incompatible hardware.

There was one misbehaving driver seen in several of the dump files:

enetechio EneTechIo \??\c:\program files (x86)\msi\one dragon center\mystic_light\eneio64.sys

If possible uninstall all of the software related to ENE

ENE_ConBox_HAL 1.0.4.0 ENE TECHNOLOGY INC. 20230430
ENE_DRAM_RGB_AIO 1.0.3.31 Ene Tech. 20230430

Swap test any ENE related hardware components one at a time as needed > monitor computer stability / instability
