Sure you can. Just uninstall the 25H2 Feature Enablement, and it reverts to 24H2.

The title did not read 26100 or 26200. It just read 26X00. Therefore, it covers both 26100 and 26200. 😊

26200.8873 appeared when bat file read the build number on my 26200 machine, I guess.

To download the new iso or create bootable USB flash disk in FAT32 file system, anyone can use Media Creation Tool by Microsoft.

I wanted to post the ISO release, not build release. That's why I made the post.

Hope my post is helpful to those who wish to clean-install Windows 11 24H2/25H2.

Media Creation Tool downloads build .8873 and not .8875, which is the release of monthly patch Tuesday through Windows Update.

MCT's build number is extracted from the latest products.cab (which is downloaded from an API). It doesn't matter what Windows you're running.

Thanks for the clarification. Let me ask a question, if you do not mind. If my system were 26100.8875 (a.k.a. 24H2), would I still get 26200.8873 or 26100.8873 ?

I thought the .bat file gives results according to the system from which the query is made.

MCT doesn't care what Windows release or build you're currently running. When MCT is launched, it downloads a products.cab file from MS and extracts an XML config file. This XML has direct download links for a special type of ESD file, which must be converted back to a normal ISO.

There is no option to pick a release, channel or build. You get whatever MS says is the "current release". Right now that is 26100.8873.

You can pick the language edition, and if you use a command-line option for MCT, pick the Enterprise ISO.

It's been observed that since June, MCT's delivered monthly build doesn't match the Monthly Update build from WU. With only two months of behavior, it's hard to know if this discrepancy is a "bug" or MS is doing this intentionally.

What is surprising about the mismatch, is the MCT products.cab is updated about a week after Patch Tuesday. Which means the Monthly Update build number is already offficial, so MS could have waited a little longer so the MCT ISO always matches the same build.
