The latest Skype Insider build 8.121 was fully released and this is what we were working on.

🖌️ Create AI Image on Desktop 🎨✨


We're excited to introduce a creative addition to Skype on desktop with the new "Create AI Image" feature, powered by DALL-E! Now, you can bring your imagination to life right within your chats.
  • Seamless Access: Add AI-generated images directly to your chats by clicking the image icon in the chat composer and select "Create AI Image" from the options menu, or select the Image creator icon at the top of any 1:1 or group chat. 🌐
  • Integrated Creativity: This opens the right pane from any 1:1 or group chat to describe and generate unique images, enhancing your conversations with visual flair. 📸🖼️
  • Quick Ideas: Get inspired with image ideas and examples in the right pane, helping you to create stunning visuals effortlessly. 💡✨
  • Enhanced Interaction: Whether you're sharing fun creations with friends or collaborating on projects, AI-generated images add a new dimension to your Skype experience. 🚀🎨

Polishing Skype: Stability improvements & Bug fixes 🛠️🐛
  • Composer area not clickable for some desktop users.
As usual, all new features are rolling out gradually over the next couple of days so if you don’t see them right away, just check again soon. 

Please let us know what you think about the latest changes, either here in the community or through the Skype app. You can always go to the Skype’s User Feedback channel to submit and vote for new features and ideas.

8.122.76.100 is out now, but a warning: at least for the time being, it's dropped the "Send message with Enter key" option. If you're used to having that off, this is a deal-breaker.
