New Skype Insider build 8.136 released

Hey Skype Insiders,

things slowed down over the holidays, but the release pipeline is now active again. You should already have 8.136 which includes the following changes:

- Added RTT support to Skype calls (send text as it is being typed)
- A lot of bug fixes, code cleanup and improvements (audio player, location picker, call reactions, raised hand, image creator, headset handling, search and message sync improvements, call handling reliability improvements, privacy and security improvements and many more)

In the bureaucratic ways of large companies, (1) nobody told the Skype team about the cancellation, and (2) there is no one in charge who has the authority to simply cancel the work in progress. Also the work on this release was probably underway. Microsoft is like one of those Indian statues with six arms, and none of the hands know what the others are up to.

See my comment right above yours, it's to track the user migration from Skype to Teams.

Skype Insider Preview v8.138.76.213 Released

No release notes on what changed from v8.138.76.211

Personal observations:
The new banner now has a button saying "Start using Teams", and pressing this button starts Teams installation. The banner is temporarily removed from the regular Skype for Web and also Skype v8.138.0.213 retail.

As far as the banner is concerned, Microsoft Skype Team Member says:
"we're replacing it with a different banner that will point users to Teams. It's rolling out so you should get it next week"
