Windows 11
I have an internet account with my local service provider, and I use their web based email to access my emails. When I'd go to log in, a log-in screen pop ups, where I'd fill in my email address and password. Up until a day or so ago, the email address would autofill even when I just clicked the cursor in the correct box.

But starting a day or so ago, there's no autofill of my email. Every time I have to type in my email address. This true in both the Edge and Chrome browsers. I've checked settings and as far as I know I haven't changed any settings that would affect this? Someone suggested that my Bitdefender anti-virus might have changed something, but I doubt it - though I will check with them.

Any ideas what could be going on? Any suggested fixes?

Best, D.

View and autofill passwords and passkeys is on and has been on! So, it seems something else is amiss?

At this point, I don't want to download any files

All it is, is a registry file that adds a line of code to your Windows registry. It’s a common process and a good majority of the tutorials here have them.

There is an “Enable” registry file to enter the required info to the registry.
There is a “Disable” registry file to remove the required info from the registry.
It is advised that you use the enable and not disable it.

Registry adjustments are one of the most common fixes in this forum.

All you have to do is download the two registries, double click on the enable reg file and agree to the popups to add the registry line.
