Hey all.

Recently I managed to solve problems that existed with WinRE.
Today I went into WinRE and there was a problem with the pointing devices I think.
I have two mice. One Bluetooth and one USB/wifi. I'm using bluetooth because the wifi is broken on left click. I also have the touchpad.

Neither bluetooth nor touchpad work in winRE. Just USB/wifi and keyboard. I thought I was missing drivers so I tried to add them to WinRE.
They no work again.
Is there any suggestion so that at least the touchpad works? If bluetooth also worked even better. :eyeroll:

Bluetooth does not work in winre as it needs bluetooth stack software built in main OS.

That is why I always buy a mouse that is dual bluetooth / dongle capable.

The same is true for touchpad use on any of my laptops but I cannot say if that is true on all pcs but think so.

So buy a mouse with a dongle for use in winre mode (<£10).

Another possibility I have not tested is a usb bluetooth transmitter but that would be dearer than a mouse with a dongle.

you could try these for touchpad

I m not sure if i remember right , but i think the touchpad always worked until now.
