No clock or system tray in Safe mode?!

I booted into safe mode to run DDU so I could clean install new GPU drivers.
There's no clock or system tray when I load in safe mode!
Taskbar is there and functional but nothing on the right hand side at all.

I don't use safe mode very often but it was definitely there last time I used it

Reboot to normal mode if the clock and system tray return, check for file corruption. Then run clean boot. See if one of these steps will resolve the issue.

No problem in normal mode. It's not really an issue, I only use Safe mode to run DDU.

I have run DDU without Safe Mode before and it worked fine.

I would recommend unplugging your broadband cable from your PC throughout the process to stop Windows from automatically installing a default driver.
