No sleep or monitor power down after SMPlayer used

As soon as I use SMPlayer it disables sleep and monitor shutdown.
Powercfg /lastwake says "wake history count = 0

If I terminate Smplayer and logout / in it sleeps normally

Have you tried to re-install this player?
Have you tried another player? and is it the same?
There are a number of players out there. Maybe
try another one or use the windows media player to
see if does it as well.
Is there an updated version of this player.
Could also be the latest Windows updates that has
affected this player unless you haven't installed them yet.

I ran the powercfg /requests and I'm getting all NONE's after VLC and SMplayer close
Updated smplayer, goes into sleep for now
