No sound since Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26052.1100 (ge_release) update yesterday. The sound symbol is X off and the volume slider is set to zero. If moved, it goes back to zero. The audio troubleshooter runs and runs with no results. My monitor is a Samsung TV and uses the HD audio driver. The TV sound is OK.

Is the correct device selected in your sound settings?

The correct device is selected in the sound settings and the latest driver is installed.
The sound was ok and when the update was installed, there was no sound. It seems obvious that the update broke the HD audio driver.

You can try uninstalling the driver then restarting the computer to let it load the driver again.
