I can't figure out why, for some reason, I'm not getting any system sounds. I discovered it yesterday when I had a timer set in the Windows Clock app and when it ran down, there was no sound. The weird thing is, if I play music or video files, the sound works. When I go into Sound Properties and test the speakers, I get sound. When I open Sound in Control Panel and test the various sounds, I get sound.
Any idea what the hell is going on here? I've tried restarting both the Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder services. And yes, I've rebooted the PC.
