Is this right? This past week I updated my 2 PCs from 24H2 to 25H2 using the enablement package. All went smoothly. Both PCs are now at build 26200.6725.

After completing the upgrade I manually checked for updates and both PCs found and installed 1 update - 2025-09 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 25H2 for x64 (KB5066613)

In the days since, I've looked at the Windows Update setting screen after powering up both PCs in the morning, expecting to see an update preview sitting there waiting for Patch Tuesday, but neither PC is displaying one.

Is this normal after updating to 25H2? Will I not be getting any updates on Patch Tuesday, Oct 14?

I know, but I usually see the preview version at least a week ahead of patch Tuesday which I could install then or wait for patch Tuesday and it will install on it's own.

Does anyone else see a preview update for 25H2 sitting there waiting to be installed Tuesday?

I have the optional cumulative update preview KB5065789- optional for 25H2. But only in the last day. I clean installed 25H2 on two computers and both got the september one (even though they were on 25H2!). I believe the September one is an important security update and if it's not found on the computer, then Windows installs it. Even though technically it's a 24H2 update. What I don't understand is why the 25H2 iso didn't include it to start with!

The one I see is KB5065789 which I have, so it looks like I'm up to date for October.
That one shows up for me as a cumulative update preview for 25H2. So yes you're probably up to date. Presumably that one will become the 14th October update when it's no longer a preview.

That makes sense. I've basically pre-installed the Oct 14, update.

    Norton 360 Deluxe Plus
    Other Info
Unsupported hardware, upgraded from Windows 10 Pro (TPM 1.2 & unsupported CPU, but does have SSE4.2, and POPCNT) to Windows 11 Pro version 24H2 on 06/15/2025. Added Registry Key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup – AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU=1 to allow installation using the Windows 11 ISO file. Used the enablement package to upgrade to version 25H2 on 10/08/2025. Secure boot enabled. Secure Boot CA 2023 updated.
I expected no update to 25H2 until Super Patch Tuesday in November.
