Note taking app that allows internal linking?

Hey, I'm looking for an app that allows me to internally link different notes. Which interconnects different relevant topics and makes it easy to remember.

OneNote.

Notepad++ can use links to open local files by enabling Clickable Link Settings in its preferences and then using a file:///URI or by right-clicking on a selected file path within the editor. Once enabled, you can write a file link like file:///C:/Users/YourUser/Documents/MyFile.txt in your text file and double-click it to open the file. Alternatively, you can simply select the file path (e.g., C:\path\to\file.txt) and right-click to choose the "Open File" option from the context menu.

OneNote is really good, easy to use with tons of functionality.

Actually I like handwriting more than typing and I don't handwriting much on OneNote.

I don't like its UI and I have not seen any option to handwrite in it. Does the handwriting option hidden in it?

I don’t think so, panda. But I believe you can in OneNote as @BruceR mentioned, which is a Microsoft product and free. As you already know.

Hey thank you all for your suggestions, I have found the app notability that allows me to take handwritten notes and this app also offers internal linking and I have liked its UI so much and it looks aesthetic. I'm going to try this and will see it fits with me or not.

Not sure what the issue is here -- depends on what you are trying to achieve.
One easy way would be to set up your own intranet. Another way would be to create an EXCEL spreadsheet with a load of URL's / local file links to documents you want to access - whether powerpoint, word, text or whatever.

I'd create some type of MySQL database (MariaDB is Free and runs on Windows) with appropriate links to docs etc - one advantage of the database approach is that updating for new docs, topics etc is simply achieved.

What you can do here is replicate some of the features of the old Lotus Notes system (absolutely hideously over complex app but the idea was good) and end up with a decent "library".

Might be a "little interesting project" when you've got some spare time. - Even better if you do it on a VM so no problems if (and certainly when) you hose things up in the beginning / learning phases -- just delete the VM and start again !!! - Your main system is untouched. !!

Plenty of apps exist for attaching notes to documents BTW.

The main problem though if you are creating handwritten documents is that you'll need some decent software to read them and creating computer readable url's for linking / creating tables of contents / indexes etc isn't at all easy - creating those manually is a chore when those things can be created almost instantly and far more accurately by the computer.
