Solved Office 2019

Hmmm..., I clicked on Repair Installation and got the new 2021 UI with 2019 functionality! Hmmm.

Happened to me as well. After the Windows 11 upgrade, Outlook 2019 became more like Outlook 365, even says "Outlook 365" when its opening but when you check under Office Account, it says Office 2019.

Top image is how it looks now and lower one is what I had. I prefer the old layout. Is there anyway to get it back?

Start with right clicking an empty spot on the far right of the Ribbon and choose 'Classic Ribbon'...



You should end up with similar...

Not on mine Yet, I guess it's only a matter of time

I think if you try and install Office 2019 on Windows HOME it incorrectly shows up as Office/365 (or at least it used to).
I'm using Office 2021 LTSC these days so I can't check it out any more. The search box can be hidden / disabled as previous posters have indicated.
