Office 365, outlook new and classic

forgive my ignorance, I am just a user.
this small co. uses MS 365 apps for business through it's own domain.
I have been using Outlook NEW and have switched to classic. When I switched my signature stopped working (set up by the off. mgr.) Remedied by creating a manual sig.

I don't see pictures in email all the time and I can't figure out why. Even when i look back at an old email that *I* sent, there is only a placeholder box. Not a 'click here to download' image, just a box.

MORE: AFAIK settings are correct and I do get pictures sometimes and I don't have to click anything to show them.

Worked what I think is a similar problem
Windows 11 and Outlook 2024 (Part of Office 2024)

Do you see the same symptoms - that it is affected by if you last did a reboot vs shutdown?

If you forward an email with blocked images - does the forwarded copy show images?

No they do not fwd. it's very weird.

However, this popped up today for some reason
So we'll see if this nudges everything back into place. I mention it because I lost my sig and pictures when I switched to classic.

Certainly looks like there is something going on. I don't think it's your fault. But I don't know how to debug it.

All I can suggest is Microsoft Support.

• [Get Help] {Scroll down to the bottom of the page} [Sign in to Contact Support]
• Sign in with any Microsoft account
• Products and services: "Microsoft 365 and Office"
• Category: "Outlook"
• [Confirm]
• Choose a support option -> "Chat with a support agent in your web browser"
