OK Co-pilot has appeared but what do I do with it ???

I backed up your comment on the basis of 40 plus years in medicine. (Only 200 hours on DH Chipmunks in University Air Squadron (RAFVR) so didn't use the aviation one. They had nothing in the way of electronics other than a radio! In medicine the progress thanks to AI has been phenomenal. When I qualified in 1968 even an ECG machine was valve powered, took 15 minutes to warm up and you had to switch off any fluorescent lights to minimise interference. Now they read the tracing and tell you exactly what the problems is.

My Dad flew Chipmunks I think partly down to him that I've always tinkered with gadgets.

I still yearn (at 85) to get my hands on one again.

I got a couple of hours in a Chipmunk as a teenager in the RAF section of the CCF at school. Last Spring I treated myself to a Spitfire flight....

I didn't get much of a look in as a child, but did get winched into a hovering helicopter once. Had a tiger moth flight as an adult. Open air

I only learnt last year that the Memorial Flight keep a Chipmunk or two to convert modern pilots to "tail draggers" before letting them fly Spitfires.

I never said advanced computer techniques were useless. I just disagree with the pretentious labelling of AI which if you ask enough of the so called AI chatbots, anybody with a modicum of intelligence would soon realise the phrase Artificial Intelligence is an oxymoron.

I have fond memories doing aerobatics in chipmunks. I even did a looop the loop with pilot talking me through it with both hands on his head.
