old home-built AMD A7M-266D with 2 CPUs in old case, also second mboard - what do to?

For years I was saving this system so that I could power an old SCSI-based tape drive. Recently I decided that I didn't need this system any longer?

The complete system and the spare motherboard both have 2 AMD Athlon 2000s, running in dual processor mode with "pencil trick." Also 1 MB of RAM. The complete system includes a working PS and an IDE drive running Win XP.

I also have a PCI-X SCSI adapter for the complete system and the spare motherboar.. I also have 3-4 extra CPUs,which were engineering samples.

What do I do with the complete system and the spare motherboard. Anyone here have any interest? Send me a DM. I live in Calfifornia.

Hopefully you have some takers but not much one can do anymore with 23 year old hardware and 1gb ram (you said 1 MB but I believe you meant 1 gb)
If you just want it gone and not to end up in a landfill there should be some places around there that recycles electronics. They tend to like ones that old since it probably has gold contacts on the mobo.

I'd like to figure out what to do with a 10 year old machine!

Retro Gaming, running retro software... and for the collection it self.

I have a old PC from 1985 with 1024 Kbyte of Ram. 5,25" disks and one 10Mbyte MFM HDD and this PC is still in full working condition even it is 40 years old.

Hi. I live to far away.. But there is people that both collect old computers and also people that looks for old hardware for Retro gaming.
So dont be to fast to ditch the computer.
You might find more Retro people on the older windows forums Vista Forums and also Windows 7 Help Forums
Also reddit might have Retro gaming and Retro computer collectors.

Thanks. It seems like a shame to get rid of this machine. Sure I could just recycle the parts, but this machine (and the second motherboard) might have some appeal to people.

I'll try your suggestions for some reddit forums.

Just check my Computers tab below my post and on System Two *lol* I have a lot of them .

Sounds like an ideal base for a NAS
