Is OneDrive encrypted by default? If not, is it possible to encrypt individual folders with either Bit locker or a 3rd party program such as Veracrypt?

I managed to get Personal Vault to work. I logged into my OneDrive online account and saved a folder to it. I received a key from MS in my email that I had to enter. Now Personal Vault shows up in File Explorer.

I just logged in to my personal Vault with my old desktop. It was the same setup. I had MS email me a code and now I have two computers that can access my Personal Vault. I now just have to setup my laptop and I'm done.

I know I don't have to explain but I want to. In the thread about Password Managers, I got thinking about how secure my password data was for KeePass 2. I have the data saved to my OneDrive folder, so I have access for all of my devices. Now that I moved the folder to Personal Vault, I feel safer about keeping the folder on OneDrive.

As an alternative you could use Cryptomator to encrypt your files. It's free and works reliably.

I have VeraCrypt installed on my computers if needed. I rarely use it though. In fact, I don't have any files or folders on my computers that are encrypted with VeraCrypt.
