Hi Folks,
I have a very old Hotmail.com account which gives me 25GB in Onedrive and I still use it.
But I sign in to my main laptop using a Gmail Microsoft Account. Everything works.
On my second laptop, I signed in using the same Gmail Microsoft Account.
I unlinked Gmail in Onedrive to add my Hotmail account.
Now I can only have a solid colour or a picture in Background Personalise settings.
How do I re enable Slideshow?

Just an observation, mixing the accounts used can be confusing to the Operating System. Maybe trying only Google Drive with Gmail accounts would be the better way to go?

Hi Berton, I have used a Gmail as my Microsoft Account with my Hotmail for OneDrive for over a year without any trouble on my 2 laptops.
My secondary pc went wrong so I did a reset, and that's where the trouble began.

Is the folder you're using for the slideshow set to 'offline only' ?
This sounds similar to a problem I had, even though the folder is stored locally, OneDrive tagged it as online only so wouldn't work with the slideshow
Right-click the folder, and if it shows 'always keep on this device', untick it and then tick it again. If it's already unticked then tick it.
