Insider Online Service Experience Pack 3.1.0.804 for Windows 11 Insider Beta - Nov. 14

Microsoft has released a new Online Service Experience Pack - Windows.Settings.Account - version 3.1.0.804 to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel.

Introduction​

Online Service Experience Packs in Windows 11 improve the delivery of changes and improvements from the cloud. This is another way we can quickly update Windows 11. For example, we plan to improve the “Your Microsoft account settings” page based on your feedback.

More information​

These Online Service Experience Packs work in a similar manner as the Windows Feature Experience Packs do. It enables us to quickly make updates to specific areas outside of a major Windows update. The difference between the two is that the Windows Feature Experience Packs can deliver broad improvements across multiple areas of Windows, whereas the Online Service Experience Packs are focused on delivering improvements for a specific area such as the new “Your Microsoft account settings” page.

The Online Service Experience Packs can be identified under Windows Update. For example, the new “Your Microsoft account settings” page would be displayed as “Online Service Experience Pack – Windows.Settings.Account” and a version number.

Currently, we are testing this mechanism with the new “Your Microsoft account settings” page. To access the page, under Settings, click Accounts. Information related to your Microsoft account, including your subscriptions for Microsoft 365, links to order history, payment details, and Microsoft Rewards will be displayed. This allows you to access your Microsoft account directly within Settings in Windows 11.

In the future, more areas will be updated through Online Service Experience Packs. These additional areas will also appear under Windows Update as “Online Service Experience Pack” with their own area name and version information.

Hi Griff79,
I've received this already on my windows 11 pro desktop, I'm somewhat disappointed that the users on the beta branch aren't going to be receiving a new build this week, in fact so much so I'm now thinking about changing to the developer branch that seems to be receiving updates on a more frequent release cycle, if I don't like what I see I can always go back to the beta build that I'm currently running. By the way this is the application that I've used for quite awhile now, I didn't know if you were aware of it or not : GitHub - abbodi1406/offlineinsiderenroll: OfflineInsiderEnroll - A script to enable access to the Windows Insider Program on machines not signed in with Microsoft Account

Hi Davy.

I did check and it was installed on my Beta Build too.

Don't give up hope on the Beta Build yet, last update was 02/11 which was also a Thursday so there is hope it will be coming today still.
Dev and Canary were yesterday so here is hoping for Beta Today 😁

As per the OfflineInsiderEnroll script, I did try it a one stage but then suddenly it just stopped updating and gave me some issues but these are also others here that do use it. I opted rather just to sign-up on Insider with an MS Account only and still signed into laptop as Local Account.

As per the OfflineInsiderEnroll script, I did try it a one stage but then suddenly it just stopped updating and gave me some issues but these are also others here that do use it. I opted rather just to sign-up on Insider with an MS Account only and still signed into laptop as Local Account.

At least for me I have windows 11 pro installed on at least two computers that are 'unsupported' according to microsoft, but it's easy to do utilizing this: Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way
