Only one page online freezing

This is the closest catagory to my issue. I look at the website "bringatrailer" concerning vintage vehicles for sale. About six months ago the page would freeze after opening a photo to see more details. Once I hit reload the entire page has frozen and I can't continue to scroll. I have to reopen the homepage and start to scroll again. It does not freeze as long as I am scrolling, only after I open another photo. I can look at all the pictures inside the photo I just opened and read all the details...but reloading back to the homepage..it's frozen. I've tried different browsers, different search engines, and tried the process on three different computers WIN 11 as well as WIN 10 ..all with the same results. I have never had this problem on any other hundreds of thousands of websites I've opened. I can only surmise it has to be a problem within the "bringatrailer" hosting on thier end. I can not contact anyone on their end as I've tried. If anyone knows what I might do on my end or send me in a direction to search. All computers here are up to spec as I configue and repair them..so I can safely elimnate "owner stupidity"..lol Thanks for any advice..

It's not going to help you but I have no issues in:
- Edge Release
- Chrome Dev
- Firefox Nightly.

My suggestion is to disable all your extensions or go in private mode and check.

PS: Some nice vehicles on show.

Just FYI. I’m on my iPad. Safari opened that page instantly, without error.
Clicking on a photo opened the details for that car, without error

I can only suggest clearing your History?Cookies/etc from your browser. Not that it may make any difference due to the fact you are experiencing this across multiple browsers.

All work fine on my mobile phone too.

EDIT: This site has a lot of images...clearing browser cache, as suggested, is a very good option. Browsing the site can easily add up to 100000 (not a typo) cached images....and at some point the browser can't handle the load anymore.

I've has issues with a HP site crashing and not loading correctly giving a no permission to access it error. Turned out to be Malwarebytes Browser Guard extension. Turning it off didn't work. Had to delete it.

You mentioned the problem was 6 months ago. Can we presume this is an ongoing issue? If you're seeing the same issue on multiple computers then consider something within your network or ISP provider. If you have a Smart Phone with internet connectivity via the phone carrier then try accessing the site on your phone while not connected to your home network and see what happens.

    I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.
Thanks to all who offered help. I'm almost convinced it's something thatn BAT has changed onn their end, because this issue doesn't happen on any other site. Win 10--WIN 11...same issue regardless of browser. I've cleared the cashe on all three pc's I run in my studio..Two are WIN 11 one is WIN 10...and they exibit no other problems across the three machines. All have plenty of up and down speed, planty of ram, and all are SSD. It's a peculiar problem that I can deal with as I only look at that web site once on the weekend...just like to see vintage cars that I grew up driving..I'm 73 and have owned over 200 cars in my life, many of which I see being offered on there...Lord knows I couldn't bid on any of them...Thanks again for all the suggestions...

But that doesn't explain how I can use the site without error. I tried Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari. All good.

Have you considered that something else may be causing this? Your security settings, windows settings, router issue?

Yes I've tried all the usual solutions..and this never happens on another website..just BAT..and I know it's a minor inconvienence only to me..but still frustrating..I get around it by setting up five different windows, so when one freezes..I just open another an scroll down to where it froze..then keep looking until I open a page to view the details on that particular vehicle..then repeat the procedue as needed...what's odd is it didn't used to do this..I noticed it about six months ago...Again thanks for all the help and suggestions...I'll just carry on as I do...and you guys can help others with more serious afflictions...

JUST A BRIEF UPDATE ON MY "FROZEN PAGE" ISSUE. This morning I logged on to Bring A Trailer as usual, but used Firefox as the browser....surprise !! Not one glitch or frozen page...so apparently there is something in the other browsers that area causing the problem...Glad to have this solved....I think...Thanks for all the help !!!

The other browsers I believe are Chromium based. Firefox isn’t.

Weird those because Chromium browsers work for me on that site. We may never know.

Glad you can see the cars again… If you see a 1965 Shelby Mustang GT350. Could you grab it for me?
