This tutorial will show you how to open the Copilot app in quick view on Windows 11.
The Microsoft Copilot app is an AI here to give advice, inspiration, and help when you need a hand. You can start a conversation to get clear answers to tough questions, turn ideas into images, or polish your writing until it shines.
On new Windows 11 PCs, the Copilot app should already be installed by default. You can find the Copilot app pinned to the taskbar or on the Start menu.
Signing into Copilot using your personal Microsoft Account gives you access to your chat history, image creation, longer conversations, voice interactions, and other Copilot features.
The Copilot quick view feature in Windows 11 allows users to access Copilot in a small floating window.

EXAMPLE: Copilot full view and quick view
This option is only available if you selected to open the Copilot app to Customize Copilot key on keyboard.
1 Perform an action below for which quick view you want to open:
- Press the
+ C keys to open Copilot quick view. - Press and hold the + C keys to open Copilot quick view with use voice.
1 Right click on the Copilot icon on the taskbar. (see screenshot below)
2 Click/tap on Open Quick View.
This option is only available if Copilot is already open in the background, and you didn't quit Copilot.
1 Right click on the Copilot notification icon on the taskbar system tray. (see screenshot below)
2 Click/tap on Open Quick View.
1 Open the Start Menu
.2 Under All apps, right click on Copilot. (see screenshot below)
3 Click/tap on Open Quick View.
1 Open Windows Search (
+ S).2 Type Copilot in the search box. (see screenshot below)
3 When Copilot is found, click/tap on Open Quick View.
