Open single image-Photos

Newbie with a perplexing question. Window 11 22621.3007 If I get an email with a photo attachment and click to open the photo the gallery opens shows all the photos it has ever seen. How can I get jut the photo I want to open. This is a reasonably new problem and I can't find the solution

What are you using for E-Mail, an installed Client or Webmail/Online Mail? I just sent myself an attachment [from one Webmail account to another] and clicking on the attachment just saved it to the drive.

Thunderbird..

Fixed..It was a setting in Thunderbird that had changed..Thanks for the tip-
