You might want to add the path to the exe

  1. Download the ZIP → from here
  2. Extract it anywhere → Example: C:\QuickLaunchRebel
  3. Create a shortcut in the Startup Folder so that it starts automatically system boot. Press the Windows Key + "R" Key on your Keybord and type without quotes "shell:startup". there you go.
  4. Run QuickLaunchTray.exe → It lives quietly in your system tray. Executable located: QuickLaunch.code.fully.working\QuickLaunch code\bin\Release\net8.0-windows\
  5. Add shortcuts → Right-click desktop → NewShortcut → Move .lnk, .url, or .exe files into the Shortcuts folder.
  6. Customize theme (optional) → Select Theme
  7. Done. → Click tray icon → Launch your stuff.
And that they may have to install .NET (Which is where I bailed)

Does it support multi monitors? 6 to be exact.

.NET is necessary to run many applications. They require it and the Desktop Runtime is supported by Microsoft.

Not sure who the author is, but I've just downloaded quicklaunch rebel which I quite like - apart from one thing. Why can I not use the left mouse button to bring up my list of items? Why does it have to be the right mouse button?

Cheers

Alan

There is a bug in the desktop runtime
So, until Microsoft fixes it, it remains right mouse click
it's not what you hoped for hearing, but trust me, I don't like it neither
