I ordered this last night and it came very early this morning. Amazon.com Way better than the vegetable slicers it's replacing. To test it out I sliced a few potatoes and made fried eggs and potatoes for my wife and me.

I applied the paste yesterday a few times, but each application type resulted in similar temps as with the Arctic MX-6 thermal paste. So, I ended up undervolting my CPU and setting the CPU Ratio to 40.00, which runs all cores at 4MHz instead of the auto (which would get up to 4.7MHHz on some of the cores, thus causing more heat). My system is stable and maxed out at 62C under extreme load. It is around 49C-50C under with Edge, Outlook, and Word open.

I am wondering if your cooler is too small for your CPU. I had a Cooler Master 240 on my old Ryzen 5800X and even it was darn warm at times ( > 60C ). Given that you have a 12 core, (is it?) the cooler may not be handling the heat dissipation adequately. The rad on that cooler is small and really should only be compared to an air cooler given its size, IMHO.

In short, it might not be your paste.

Thanks for your thoughts. IT's an iCUE H60i liquid cooler. It worked well with my older Ryzen. This chip probably also just runs hotter. On Auto, it would crank up to 4.7MHz on multiple cores at once. Throttling it so that all the cores run at 4.0MHz and setting the voltage to 1.025v has solved the heating problem. My system is stable and still really fast.

Also compare to my store bought Canare L-4E6S Canare XLR cables. Mogami's wire rival.
