So I was doing some playing around with Edge today and I found out, by going to the Outlook site, that I could install the app for the site, which is called "Outlook (PWA)". It's also available for Chrome apparently (which I don't use).

I must say, it's fantastic! A bit clunky at times and laggy (it's still in its early versions) but the functionality is all there and more! I uninstalled the Windows Mail app and I'm using this one now, you can pin it to the taskbar or add it to Start, it's like a desktop app but it's really a browser app.

I don't want to clutter this post by describing everything I like about it or what more does it bring, I just wanted to share it with you guys, in case you've never heard of it.

Just click here to try it out and see for yourself, you can always uninstall it if you don't like it (from within Edge/Chrome, not the Store)

Even my nail clipper is better than the Windows Mail app

Jokes aside, I've been dreaming of having the Outlook page on my desktop with notifications ever since Microsoft got a hold of Skype and removed that functionality, leaving me no choice but to try out different mail apps and in the end the Windows one seemed to be the better choice.

But NOW I am happy, I got what I wanted from Microsoft, after Microsoft took it away from me years ago. Yeah that makes sense :p
