Solved PC is disconnected from lan upon waking

When my PC wakes from an overnight suspend, sometimes it shows as disconnected from internet and the only option upon clicking the icon is airplane mode, so i do that but it doesnt work, upon reboot its all working normal

My other PC uses wifi and thats fine and other devices connected via cable seem fine too

21h2 and latest drivers from WU

See if this helps.
control panel-device manager-expand network adapters-Right click on your ethernet connection-select properties-power management tab-uncheck 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'

Also in control panel-power options-select balanced power plan

EDITED TO ADD

Navigate to Device Manager > Network adapters.
Right-click on your Ethernet connection and click Properties.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Property, scroll down and look for Energy Efficient Ethernet try changing it's value to OFF.
Click OK.

My intel controller does not have that box checked and also EEE is already disabled

The only other things I can suggest to try are:

Make sure you have latest lan and chipset drivers.

See if you have an available bios update.

Reset network adapters
Reset Network Adapters in Windows 11 Tutorial

Make sure you have no corrupt system files that is causing this problem. Open a command prompt as administrator and type sfc /scannow
Pay attention to the scan results to see if SFC found anything it could not repair. If it found corruption it could not fix followup with this command (note the spaces)
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Restart computer
(Note-you can follow up with another sfc /scannow command to make sure that dism repaired the files)

This seems to have worked for now at least, ill report if anything changes
