I bought two new identical monitors recently. This didn't happen at first, but within days it did. On Monitor #2, there is a number in the upper left hand corner: 60:00 It is always there, on the home screen, plus it overlays any and all browsers when open. Please see link to attached pic. I never experienced this problem before, and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Please see pic at link below.

Specs of my PC in bio. Windows Version # is 23H2

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Looks for all the world like a one-hour countdown timer, doesn't it? Are you running any third-party clock on your system (T-Clock or 11 Clock or other)? Does anything happen if you double-click the number?

Have you tried factory resetting the monitor? Could be on the monitor itself and not the pc. Whats the monitor brand and model?

Thanks for your response. No, not running any third party clock. And nothing happens if I double-click the number.

Running two 27" MSI G27C452 Monitors.
I did just take your suggestion, and I reset the offending monitor, eh voila, the numbers have disappeared!
That solved the problem. Thank you both so much! πŸ‘

Probably be a good idea to mess around with the Monitor menus to see what options/settings are available.

I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.
Looks for all the world like a one-hour countdown timer, doesn't it?

Or a FPS counter.

This has been resolved but one quick and easy way to determine if it is Windows or the monitor itself is to take a screenshot. If it shows up in the screenshot it is something in Windows and is it doesn't then it is the monitor.
