Phone link received messages

Am handicapped and use windows phone link for texting. Up until a month ago, received text appeared in the same area as where I typed and hit send. As of march, the received text started appearing on the left side. Phone link is paired to my Samsung S23 ultra. I've reset phone link several times to no avail. TIA
