Phone Sanitizer?

Have an iphone and whenever I use it outside or it gets dirty, I always use some 70% alcohol on it with a paper towel. Or I use those other wipes for it.


I heard about phone sanitizers like phonesoap. Do these work and are these better? Seems nice you just put your phone there a bit and it sanitizes it and that is all? Reviews seem really mixed. Some cheaper phone sanitizers are not as good? I check amazon site and there are several.

I take my phone out of it's wallet and gel case, once a month, and wipe everything down with a damp cloth.
That's it.
I'm the only living creature that has ever touched my phone so, I'm not too worried about germs! :cool:

I use those little eyeglass lens wipes that come sealed individually in little packets. I use them for my glasses, iphone, ipad but NOT computer screen or TV. I keep several in my purse and car because I'm the world's work for getting greasy fingerprints on my phone screen.

You are doing the right thing for removing dirt from your device.

Phone Sanitisers are only for specifically for removing microbes and viruses. So if you share the handset with others, or are taking it into a contamination-free environment, then maybe these would be better options:

Quick small dollop of hand sanitiser (COVID style), wipe with clean tissue. Cheap, safe - really cleans screen without smearing.

Then clean hands same way lol.
