It's for straight, open road.
Too heavy for high speed bends. It would shred the tires trying to take a bend at even 120 plus.

They were 2.4 liter, 4 cyl., bottom of the line 2WD 1/2 ton 4-speed pickups.

They had cargo capacities of half a ton or more, but that doesn't make them half-ton pickups. A half ton would be like a Toyota Tundra, GMC Sierra, Ford F-150, etc.

Nope. Those are one ton minimum. Some may be two ton.

The two I had... 1986 and 1990 were short bed with the 22R engine.
And despite what it says above... they were 4-speed stick (manual).
The 1986 cost 11k and the 1990 cost 12k
I got them when they were on sale for $1 over invoice.

Think of it as "you're not qualified" for the reward. Don't blame MS/Bing because you don't have a phone.
Like when you are looking for a job and you can't get a particular job because you don't have a degree or something.
Nothing is really FREE in this world.

No, but I'm going to heavily invest in it. There are ways around not having to use a smartphone. You just have to be determined to look for them and not give up.

I just know that I'm not gonna be a slave having to carry around a device on my person all the time. Like some kind of ankle bracelet parolees have to wear. My life will not revolve around that.

Nobody is making you carry around a phone all the time. Why do you think that?

Both me and my wife have smartphones but that is only for when portability is important. I was going to buy a camera but my Samsung S21 has a camera that is good enough for most of my needs.

We both normally use our landline phones for most calls. We have 5 phones to cover most of our house. Also, since we get the landline service through our cable company the CallerID shows on our TV screen for a few seconds. Knowing that allows us to screen calls easier.
