Hi folks
If you've a new camera that isn't supported on the older Photoshop CS6 download the FREE adobe RAW->DNG converter and then simply process the DNG files. You can also embed the original RAW files into the DNG if required -- latest cameras also now able to process DNG files directly.

It definitely "does what it says on the tin" for Canon R5 MK II (brilliant camera and mirrorless) - best camera I've ever had bar none !!! and I bought it used -- a new one is beyond my pay grade -- however there's a lot of good used photography stuff out there as many pro photographers are leaving the profession leaving this stuff available to amateurs who still love real photography.

Cheers

And you can pick up old medium-format film cameras for cheap these days, If I could only afford all the lenses and extra film backs, I would get a Hasselblad 500c.:(

@x509
Somewhere you might be able to get a cheap digital back for the Hasselblad -- trying to find actual film stock is rather hard these days apart from infra red film which still surprisingly is not difficult to source.

I've still got the old Official Canon FD Lens converter -- rare - with glass in it which allows some FD lenses to be used on modern EOS type cameras - especially as I had a couple of great FD long fast lenses for a T90 camera I used to use pre-digital photography.

works as follows :

Looks like this .

Note also canon converter (this one isn't expensive) for older EOS lenses to newer ones for the EOS-R system.

Sure but what about all those great Zeiss lenses? And at the end of the day, a Hassie is a studio camera, and I do mostly event/outdoors/sports/travel. My wonderful new Nikon Z8 is awesome but the new 24-70 and 70-200 lenses weigh a ton.

Why is IR film not difficult to source?

Still lots of use for it - using IR mode with digital cameras is not that great. Actually for carrying heavy lenses some of those light weight foldable shopping trolleys can be ideal.

The film that I wish was still around was Aero Ektachrome False Color. Weird colors. I still have my two Nikon F2's, in the hope that I can return to film some day. But no way to mount Nikon Z-mount lenses on an F-mount body, so far as I know.
