Hi,

At the moment, I have a Balanced active plan, with hibernation turned off and sleep too.

Laptop is on 24/7, lid open.

Posting attachments for experts to view the custom plan and recommend any changes if needed to increase performance etc.

Thanks.

My laptop is from 2017, and is also on 24/7. The only time it reboots is once a month with Windows updates. I take it off the charger once a month to use it on battery from 100% to 20%, and then plug it back in. Haven't had any issues with the battery at all. The most recent health check shows it at "very good condition". (from 100% to 20% usually lasts 5-6 hours). Of course depending on what is browsed, and what you do with your laptop, and battery capacity, will all affect it, but I don't see any issues leaving it on 24/7, and only running on battery once a month.

No worries. Also I forgot to mention my power plan is system defaulted to Balanced, so whatever Windows decided to use for all the settings within balanced, it's been working great for me.

What about the HDDs and CPU on battery and plugged in. Min and Max should they be changed as shown in my attachments?

Thanks.

I think what you have would be fine. Here's what mine show that have been working for me. I think you can't go wrong with it on Balanced if you don't tax your system. I don't think I ever changed it to high performance, and never noticed needing it, so I'd keep balanced if you don't notice any issues.

There are a lot of people with it missing. It's not a needed feature if you're not going to change it (and probably should leave Windows manage it anyway), but if you want to enable it check this post out as it may help you.
