Printer suddenly doesn't work

I have an HP 2130 printer on my W11 Asus laptop that has always worked fine. I used it within the past week, but just tried it now and it won't do anything. I bring up a document, hit CTRL-P, the window pops up, hit "Print" but nothing happens.

However, I've noticed one odd thing: Under the "Print and page setup" (that CTRL-P brings up) under the "Printer" section it does not list my printer, all it says is "OneNote Desktop,"MS Publisher Color Printer," and "Microsoft Print to PDF." No matter which I select it doesn't work. Shouldn't my printer be listed there?

Also: I looked up how to print a test page, and the answer I got doesn't fit what I see on my machine.

If the printer does not show up under settings>bluetooth & devices>printers & scanners then attempt to install the printer again. If your printer is not detected during the installation then look to the problem being with the printer itself. I believe that old printer is usb only and is installed using the HP app from the Microsoft store so it will be detected during installation or it won't.
I would suggest you power it off, install the app, and only turn it back on when the installation tells you to.

Those cheap inkjet printers don't last forever and that one came out in 2015.
