I can cast to my Samsung Smart TV by using Win/K, the picture gets to the TV alright, but I then have problems:
1. No sound to the TV, but sound remains on the computer.
2. No picture left on the computer - just a blank screen. I would like to retain the picture on the computer.
3. On the picture on the TV, in one corner of the screen, is a picture of the cast box from the computer, which I cannot remove as my computer screen appears blank.
Any help is appreciated.

To see the picture on both displays, use Win/P and choose "Duplicate".

I don't know if this will take care of the audio issue or not. That may require something else to be done.

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

Thanks Altaylor. This seems to have now solved the video problem, and I can now see the picture on both my Computer Screen and TV at the same time. I haven't solve the sound problem yet. Kanga85

Thanks Bree, but this does not work for me. Still no sound from the TV, although I do now get the picture on both screen and computer.
Win/Ctrl/v give me:
