There was a Security platform update a couple of days ago (Version 1.0.2208.16003). I noticed yesterday that sometimes the Security Health dashboard will crash and show Unknown for everything (see pic 1). I also see that Smart App control is missing from App and Browser control settings (pic 2). I can see the Smart App control windows when I search for it, but no option is available nor selectable (pic 3).

My SecurityHealth folder had two folders in - 1.0.2207.20002-0 and 1.0.2208.20003-0 (the latest one). I booted to the Windows recovery command prompt and deleted the 'older' folder but this hasn't fixed the problem.

IS this another problem with the Security platform update? There was one recently that caused App and Browser control to disappear completely.

I've also attached the error from the Reliability monitor (pic 4)

If the Windows Security app doesn't open, is crashing, or doesn't work properly, you can reset it to try to fix the Windows Security app.
