Proximity sensor question on Windows 11 install

I can't remember which build but I got a question on " Your device is fitted with a proximity sensor - do you want to enable it so your computer goes into sleep mode if you are away from it ". I refused the option but is there a setting somewhere that can re-enable it or disable it if you enabled it by default at windows install time.

It sounds like a "Tethering device" -- go away from the computer and it powers down / sleeps -- not good presumably if running a long background process !!!!!! and you just want to go and make a sandwich.

That option doesn't seem visible (not even greyed out) on my PC - there's only 2 biometric devices on the pc -- a web cam and a finger scanner so unless the web cam is secretly filming you and sending stuff to Ms even when it looks off I'm not sure where this stuff is coming from.

I'm in no way sure, but I remember reading some articles about the web cam and the mic being ON by default?
Folks were pretty upset about it.
But I don't know if that's external or internal web cam and mic.

Do you happen to have a keyboard with a TOF sensor?
I have an EVGA Z20 with the sensor, although as far as I am aware it should only work to turn off the keyboard lights and maybe put the bluetooth/ wireless in low power mode (mine is a wired keyboard but still has the sensor).
Is it possible you have such a device that allows Windows to also manage the sensor reading?

Usually use a bog standard old fashioned ISL keyboard. !!! Only concession is that it's wireless.
