Hi folks
On SKY GLASS TV there's ARC / eARC for some type of audio -- no idea what that is -- however I want to XMIT blu tooth to wireless phones. I have a blue tooth transmitter which can select analog Tos or digital audio in and xmit blue tooth out. -- can I use the ARC audio to send audio to the cans.
The Sky service people don't seem to have a smidgen of a clue about the equipment they are selling -- I do like the idea as you can get rid of a Dish and SKY Q box -- although you then lose recording capability. However I usually watch by "On demand" so not an issue I have problems with -- if I need old stuff I can obtain "elsewhere" and stream via Amazon fire stick.
Seems the only obvious omissions on the SKY GLASS concept - great idea but blu tooth capability and recording should have been designed into it as optional extra. I can also do it via SKY GO and a hardware video capture device also but it should be there from the outset. No more "Messy dishes" and long cable / LNB runs -- Hoooooraaaaay !!!!!.
The TV makes a great monitor as well !!!!. The 55 inch one is probably the best for this purpose. The huge one takes up too much real estate for my computer space.
Cheers
