Question about Amazon Delivers

When did Amazon start showing the name and a pic of the delivery driver? I just checked on the status of my delivery and like usual because it is close, it showed how many stops away it is. To my surprise it also showed a pic and the name of the driver.

Quite new to me. I got something delivered the the day and no driver listed. Maybe they are trying to boost morale since they are firing a bunch of people. 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if it's up to the driver if they want to include their name and picture or not.

I'm on Vine and get deliveries all the time, have never seen that. Was it just in a browser, or an Amazon App? Looks like it's for Flex drivers, individuals who deliver with their own vehicles

I've never seen the pic of the guy delivering, but we get all deliveries through FedEx or UPS, so maybe like A Guy mentioned,, individual freelance guys. I know they take a pic of the package on the doorstep/porch when they deliver it.

What an age we live in, the Amazon site even tells you when it's been delivered, so if you're lazy you don't have to keep checking the porch, just the computer :LOL:
