Another option is open Command Prompt on installation media in "resources" folder and run "setupprep.exe /product-server". That will bypass min specs too. upgrade will say server, but it will install whichever edition is win 10 (home, pro, etc). Just need to make sure that disk is GPT not MBR, otherwise upgrade will fail. if its MBR, its easy enough to convert disk to GPT in Command Prompt without loosing any data.

I kept all my previous comps (unassembled). But I really liked this one. It was seriously easy to overclock.
Just changed the multiplier. The RAM and the CPU both overclocked and were stable.

Never enough stickers in early 2000s . Even 3,5" floppy drive. Still remember countless hours of lovely sounding floppy drive while installing win 95. Still have somewhere around big box of 5.25" really "very floppy" disks full of DOS games.

Wow, going back a ways...Intel 8088 processor, 10Mb FULL HEIGHT hard drive, 5.25" floppy drive, 512k RAM, monochrome screen. Soldered faster quartz oscillator to overclock. IBM DOS (pre-MS DOS).

I don't miss those days.

As you can see, in the multithreaded average PC Mark chart, despite being $90 cheaper the Beelink is ranked 69% higher than the HP.

P.P.S., that is a 94% higher multithreaded rating than the HP........

My wife and I just upgraded our desktop PC's this last month. After shopping around at the usual suspects, I ended up just getting on Facebook and buying a used gaming computer.

Turns out, parents tend to buy their teenage kids expensive gaming computers.. which get used for a few years, then when the kid goes to college he sells the computer for about 20% of its purchase price. Hit the Windows Reset button, format any unused drives, and it's good to go.

I paid $250 for mine.. It's a Ryzen 5 5500 with a 1tb PCIe NVME + 1 tb SSD, 32 gigs ram, and an 8gig video card with more power than I'll ever possibly need.

My wife's computer came out to about the same.. Better processor, but only 16gigs ram, and she doesn't have built in bluetooth like mine.

I can't imagine paying $600 to $1000 for a machine these days. Lots of them on Facebook.

I'm in the process of setting up the new PC; so far so good. Thanks everyone for your assistance!
