Random BSOD during gaming and watching youtube on newly built PC

Hello all,

I been getting random BSOD, sometime during gaming, and sometime while watching youtube. This is a newly build PC only a month old, didn't have any problem the first few days, then suddenly the BSOD problem started happening. I did a format and clean install of Window 11, which reduced the BSOD occasion, but it continue to happen randomly during normal usage (before it BSOD every 2 to 3 hours, after fresh install 1 time per day). I could not really pinpoing what caused it. I am also not a really experience PC builder, last time I built a PC was 7 years ago following youtube video. I did a stress test on CPU and GPU, temperature and performance looks okay.

So far I tried:
-Format and clean install Window 11, twice
-Full Virus Scan
-Unplug and replugging RAM
-Unplug my HDD (non OS HDD), since it been giving out SMART command timeout error
-Memtest86+, 8 passed overnight, no error detected
-Window Memory Dialgnosis, no error
-Staring at the mini dump, no idea what to do with those information
-I got suggestion from other online forum that this might be issue with my SSD (OS drive), I plan to get it replace and see if that fix it if I am out of option

Welcome to the forum. @zbook or one of the others will analyze your logs and get back to you. I have a question. Did you install all your drivers from the manufacturer site or did you let windows update install your drivers?

I installed graphic card driver, B650 chipset, from nvidia and AMD website; a bunch of other driver from Gigabyte Control Center software. Other than that I didn't really download any other drivers, so probably Window handled those.

Thanks for your response, I had completed step 1 - 3, for memtest86 it will take a while so I'll run that overnight.

Regarding step 5, I don't think I can easily swap Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller, since it is part of my motherboard.

Tuneup plus results were good.

Memtest86 can run overnight while sleeping.

Follow reliability history for BSOD, unexpected shutdowns and restarts without BSOD and IO hardware errors.



For any hangs, freezes, BSOD, unexpected shutdowns and restarts without BSOD or IO hardware errors post a new V2 share link into the newest post using one drive, drop box, or google drive

If there are recurrent IO hardware errors then it may be addressed first by reinstalling a fresh driver or if available another driver version.
If the motherboard is under warranty then contact Gigabyte.
If recurrent IO hardware errors continue with an expired warranty then use a dongle: Amazon.com : ethernet dongle

This is almost certainly a RAM problem. The four dumps all show different bugchecks and in different operations. All four of the dumps contain 0xC0000005 exception codes, which is a memory access violation error. One dump points specifically at RAM...
There are two ways of testing your RAM...

Since you have more than one stick of RAM then remove one stick and run on just one for a while - or until you get another BSOD. Then swap RAM sticks and run on just the other RAM stick for a while. This will clearly show whether one stick is flaky. Since you have two 16GB RAM sticks I strongly recommend this as the best way to test your RAM because you'll suffer minimal (or none) performance degradation and this method is guaranteed to find a flaky RAM stick.

Download Memtest86 (free), use the imageUSB.exe tool extracted from the download to make a bootable USB drive containing Memtest86 (1GB is plenty big enough). Do this on a different PC if you can, because you can't fully trust yours at the moment. Then boot that USB drive on your PC, Memtest86 will start running as soon as it boots. If no errors have been found after the four iterations of the 13 different tests then restart Memtest86, and do another four iterations. This will find about 95% of RAM issues. Even a single error is a failure.

I did a 4 run memtest86 overnight, passed the test: MemTest86-Report-20231025-212752.html. I will try to do one more tonight. Unfortunately I don't have another PC that I can test my ram on.

I didn't game much lately since I been busy this week, I going to start using it a bit more over the weekend; if I continue to get BSOD, I will try those suggestions one by one.
