Have any of you ever had random minimizing happen when your on a web site, or you tube video? I'm at a loss on how to fix this issue I'm having. I have tried every fix suggested but nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To narrow it down, you can run a Clean Boot.
If that works, you can keep it this way.
If you want to find out what app is stealing focus,
Add One or More Services or Startup items at a time until the behavior returns, then you will know the culprit.

I "THINK" I may have fixed the problem. First I did the new "Windows 11, version 24H2 (repair version).
Then I removed several mods I did through the software Windhawk. I have a feeling it was the mods that was causing the problem but not really sure or care. Just know that so far I am no longer experiencing the random minimizing as before. I'm going to leave this post open for a few days before I mark it as solved just to be sure.

If I understand you correctly, It minimizes a youtube video or a site I'm on after just a minute or so of opening the site or playing the video. When I restart my PC the problem goes away temporarily, only to return later on.

I left the registry alone but I did go into services and disable "Windows Error Reporting Service". Had heard that it could cause the problem I'm having. Did this yesterday. After I did that, so far so good for the rest of the day yesterday, and this morning. Testing on a particular you tube video that would auto minimize at the same spot around 30 seconds into the video. Like I said, so far so good. No issues. I'll keep testing till I'm satisfied the issue is resolved.

OK, finally! I have found 100% what was causing my auto minimizing problem. It was a third party software I had installed.
(DesktopOK 11.81 Save and restore the desktop icon positions.) Cromax had mentioned that a third party softwares a possible cause, but at the time I did not delve into it far enough. I only had two 3rd party software's installed. "Windhawk" and "DesktopOK". I thought windhawk was the problem with several windhawk mod's I was using, but found out I was incorrect. The culprit was "DesktopOK"! I uninstalled it from my desktop computer, and the problem is completely gone!! I'm a happy camper now and can now mark this problem as SOLVED!

Hmmmm I have used DesktopOK and never had that issue. However I have a version from several years ago now. I am currently on a new build now and haven't installed it yet. I need to check my previous daily driver to see which version is/was installed. Looks like v 4.24. Guess I need to update it!

I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.

I've been also using DesktopOK for quite some time and never had this problem. I wonder if it was caused by some new update?

Have you been to the creators website? That program has had a LOT of updates going all the way back to 2006. The one I had been using(4.24) was dated Jan 2016. You could always try an earlier version and see if the issue duplicates. Looks like there were 3 updates in April alone.

No I have not. I think I'm just going to go without DesktopOK for now. If I feel the need for this type of software in the future I'll give a different one a try. Kinda got my eye on this one. ReIcon v2.1 (Restore Desktop Icon Layouts)
