Random PC freezes and lights/leds inside case flash when it happens.

I've been noticing an issue with my PC. I first started noticing this when I downloaded Battlefield 2042. The game would hitch every-so-often, but when that happened all the RGB in my case would flash for a quick second as if it was resetting itself along with my mouse freezing. Of course I only ever see this out of the corner of my eye, so I can't be sure what explicitly is flashing.

This never happened in any other game except for that. But now once in a while if I am doing something intensive/semi-intensive. IE Sony Vegas, or Photoshop with other windows open, the same thing happens. My mouse stops working for a quick second and the lights inside my case flash and turn back in in half a second or so.

I ran MemTest on my RAM overnight and it passed 100%. What else should I be looking for? In the last month or so I had some BSOD's for the first time in a long LONG time. I think one had to do with Memory or something, that's when I did MemTest.

I have an AORUS RTX 3070, i7 10700K which is not OC'd, 32GB of RAM, EVGA 850W PSU , Strix Z490-E MOBO, Windows 11 22H2 (22621.1413), and dual 1080P monitors. All my drives are SSD Except for some internal storage HDD drives.

All software/games run off SSD.

First thing I would do is check your temps.
Anytime you put a load on the computer, the temps will rise.
A free program like Speccy is a quick way to check your temps.

Post a screen shot of the main page, like this...

Do something to get your load temps up. Play Battlefield, or run your editing software... etc.
There's also a free benchmark called Unigine Heaven that you can run instead...

We need to see if the temps are getting too high. I don't think they are, but ya never know.

Whatever you use to stress the PC... give it some time to heat up then Alt + Tab to your desktop and see what Speccy says.
Leave Speccy running in the background, so you can quickly grab a screen shot.

The last BSOD seen in the log files was 02/23/2023.

Please perform the following steps in sequence:

1) Move the page file to the Windows drive > reboot the computer

2) Run tune up plus > post a share link into this thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

3) Post images of:

a) startup and recovery system failure settings
b) virtual memory / page file settings

4) The ASUS website was down yesterday and today.
Once it is able to be used for drivers then Windows Driver Verifier (WDV) testing can be performed.

5) Read this link on WDV:

Learn the methods to recover from using the tool by booting into safe mode and running one or more of these commands:

verifier /reset

verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

Please do not use WDV until it is communicated in this thread.
